Achievements..I haz some!

So Wow introduced the Achievement System with patch 3.0.2 While I did not think it would be all that much fun, I was quite surprised to find myself scanning my achievements for what I was missing, that could be easily obtained. I also was a bit disappointed when some of the ones I felt I should have ( I have run Deadmines SOOOO many times) and was sorely lacking. So I have been merrily running around the world, on all my toons, getting hair cuts, buying pets, and filling in the maps.

With the additional fun of Hallows End, this brings about a WHOLE new set of shiny achievements to obtain. Sadly, killing the Horseman will have to wait with most of my toons, but that does not mean the rest cannot get there easy ones done and out of the way. Daxan the paladin has been lucky. While she is still to low for actually killing the HH, she has managed to get the Squashling pet, not once, but 2x! He dropped again for me last night. Shame on Blizz for making him BoP, as I would have passed him along. Sadly, it had to be destroyed. I also have managed to Trick or Treat my way through Eastern Kingdoms on her..WOOT! Kalimidor is next on the list, with Outland having to wait till next year.

The other fun thing though with the achievements, is running the old world instances. The few guildies that are on, we have decided to just tear through them, and get em done. Last night, Daxan(64 ret), a 57 ret pally, a 70 BM hunter with his trusty Devilsaur Ned, and a 69 Holy Priest, had a merry jaunt through Stratholme. Lets just say the undead did not stand a chance with Ned being on aggressive, and 2 ret pallies with lots of exorcism! Sadly, the priest got locked out during the Baron fight..OOPS…Ned gotta little trigger happy, but we downed everything without issue..and DINGED the Stratholme achievement. We planned on moving to Scholo, but sadly we did not have a key, or a rogue to let us in, so we called it a night. We plan to move on to the EPIC BRD within the next few nights.

Speaking of achievements…where is the Zombie related ones? How cool would they be…After running through Stratholme, we decided infecting Thrallmar was in order, then we moved on to Honor Hold. We managed to infect ALL of HH within 5min, till the allies moved in and put an end to the fun. I screenshotted most of the fun, and will share them soon.
